About

Make the hiring game more honest

RevoCV is an independent product built to reflect how hiring actually works — keyword relevance, role fit, and honest self-presentation — instead of how the internet says it works.

Why this exists

I'm Rahul Bharati, a software engineer. After taking 100+ technical interviews and reviewing 200+ resumes, I kept seeing the same pattern: inflated metrics, ATS myths, and people rewriting their resume from scratch for every role.

In reality, ATS systems mostly match keywords and relevance, recruiters skim for role fit, and most engineers don't directly own revenue metrics — and that's okay. I built RevoCV to help people who are good at their craft present their real experience with the same precision they bring to their work.

It's the foundation of a larger idea: a candidate intelligence layer that understands how your real experience maps to real roles, reduces the randomness of applying, and compounds in value the longer you use it — without ever compromising on honesty.

Non-negotiables

Principles I won't break

Honesty over optimization

RevoCV never invents experience or injects fake metrics. If a feature improves scores but hurts interview integrity, it's wrong.

Explainability over magic

Every score and suggestion is explainable. If you can't answer 'why did this change?', the feature is incomplete.

Reuse over rewrite

RevoCV exists to evolve resumes, not recreate them. You should never feel forced to start from scratch for each role.

Candidate-first trust

I choose candidate clarity over recruiter convenience, and long-term trust over growth hacks. Always.
